There was a girl known as Chirpy Bird,
O ne fine night she saw a lovely dream,
Full of life always in a herd.
She had beautiful wings and used to
fly high,
Used to live every dream and never let
those dreams die.
The zeal to fulfill that dream was
really extreme.
She almost fought with everyone to
make that dream come true,
She’ll be really happy that was all
she knew.
She knew that this dream will put her
in a cage,
But in book of her life, this will be
a beautiful page.
Guess what, she was happy too,
But for how long this happiness will
last, she had no clue.
She knew that for getting the dreams fulfilled,
one has to pay the cost,
But for this dream, whatever she
earned, she simply lost.
She didn’t know that the cost is going
to be this high,
Nor was she aware how much she’ll have
to cry.
She was afraid that now she no more
want this dream to be true,
But alas! Not even a single person
agreed to her point of view.
She begged, cried and requested almost
to all,
Her requests were denied, and she was
asked to act like a doll.
She obeyed to them as she always used
to do,
Her smile, her happiness she gave
everything in lieu.
Her wings were cut off and she couldn’t
fly anymore,
That pain made her hurt to the
innermost core.
She simply smiled and didn’t let know anyone about her pain,
Everyone around saw her smile but no
one noticed her blain.
Her dream was forced on her and she was
asked to live it through,
And with that, to her real happiness,
she bid an adieu.
She is still smiling and fighting through
it,
And getting broke from inside bit by
bit.
She has accepted the challenge for her
lifetime,
But her heart has become thick with
grime.
She’ll smile and sound happy to the
world,
How much time it’ll take to gain her
real happiness, that vision is still blurred.
She wants her wings back and wants to
fly again,
She really wants to get rid of this bloody
pain.
Wish she gets her chirpiness back
soon,
Wish she can go to a place which she
can call her safe cocoon.
