I and my friend are saying this since long "Last Year This Time
Everything Was So Perfect" but then suddenly it hit me that what is the
idea of Perfection.
I agree that last year things were just great, everyone was so happy and everything was alright, however the coming year will be completely jeopardized, none of us had this sight. But as the saying goes "Change is the only Constant Thing" so our lives changed too and now the question is whether it changed for good or for bad.
This year started with all the Twist & Turns in each of our lives. We all gained yet lost so many things at the same time so should we be happy looking into what all we have gained or be sad thinking about what all we have lost?
It was not the meager things that we lost but the loss was of emotions, trust, feelings and relationships. Hence the intensity of loss was much bigger than whatever we gained. How much we all tried to celebrate our winnings but the celebrations were all dull as our alter egos whom we lost in one way or the other were not the part of those celebrations.
But I guess the loss hit us more because of our own expectations and presumptions. Though we knew that expectations will bring frustrations along, still in the fight of mind and heart we gave the chance to heart to win and to lose at the end.
Yet again, it's in our hand whether to enjoy this phase or mourn over our grief and yeah we finally decided to move on and take a step ahead, it was not easy and it could never be as we'll miss those moments but yes we can smile cherishing those memories and sometimes cry recalling those.
Life cannot be perfect anytime, may be it was not the same last year too but the moments spent made it look that way so now we have to start from scratch and if not actually create but at least fabricate the fresh and beautiful memories and find pleasure in the new version. The safe cocoon of past has to be broken and we'll have to find refuge in our new haven and we surely will do it.
This year and all the coming years will be perfect as we'll make sure to fill it with all the perfect moments. Life was, is and will be a mixed bag of all kind of emotions but the strongest of those will be the one which will make us happy, yes we'll cry in our heart and can howl too but that will only make us strong to look out and search for happiness and at the end we'll be happy not because everything is perfect but we'll see the perfection in everything.
